On a brief philosophical point of view Change means something becoming what it is not. According to Parmenides (515-440 BC) everything in existence is permanent and unchanged, the only property that unchanged entities have is that of existence, for instance Parmenides claimed that reality is permanent if it changes then it is not reality because the only thing that reality has is its’ existence, If anything changed then it will have to go through cyclical stages of existing then not existing to existing again or not existing to existing then not existing again, he further stated ‘being is, not being is not.’ That is being just keeps on being whatever or where ever it is no change, and non-being by definition does not exist.
